What is Gen Z?

Gen Z refers to the generation of people who were born between the mid-1990s and the early 2010s. This generation follows the Millennials (born roughly between 1981 and 1996) and is also known as the iGeneration or the Post-Millennials. 

Gen Z is often characterized as being highly connected and digitally savvy, having grown up with technology and the internet. They are also known for their diverse and inclusive mindset, social activism, and entrepreneurial spirit.

The age range for Gen Z would be slightly different. Those born in the mid-1990s would be in their late 20s, while the youngest members born in the early 2010s would be around 13-14 years old. 

How old is Gen Z vs Gen Alpha?

Gen Z refers to individuals born between the mid-1990s and the early 2010s, making the oldest members of Gen Z in their late 20s as of 2024, and the youngest members around 13-14 years old. 

On the other hand, Gen Alpha is the term used to describe the generation born after Gen Z, starting from around 2010 and onwards. This means that as of 2024, the oldest members of Gen Alpha would be around 13-14 years old, with the youngest members being infants or toddlers.

What are the characteristics of Gen Z?
